The private residence is perched atop the Pacific Heights neighborhood and has sweeping views North to The Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. We weren't blessed with the best weather but did catch some sun breaks on the second day of shooting. It was a little tricky pulling the views in to the shots because of the North facing orientation of the residence.
I really enjoy photographing the architecture and interior spaces found in San Francisco. The unique layout and topography of the city can pose difficult design challenges and often leads architects and designers to come up with very creative solutions to those problems. And it's such a quick and easy trip to make from Seattle.
