Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros killed in Libya

Photojournalists Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros were killed today during a mortar attack in Libya.

I really don't know what else to say. I hope you can find some time to take a look at their incredible work, however uncomfortable some of it may make you feel. These guys were two of the best.

UPDATE 4/22/2011:

Well I'm having a hard time getting over this tragedy. Tim was such an amazing photographer and his work an inspiration to so many of us outside of the photojournalism community. His images had a power and deliberate focus that went far beyond just being there and documenting.

Sebastian Junger has written a short article for Vanity Fair and the magazine has posted a slideshow of some of his work from Afghanistan here.
