I photographed Kurt and the 1800's cabin he lives in on Vashon Island, Wa for the New York Times back in late 2013.
The new October/November 2014 issue of Interiors Magazine features a project I photographed earlier this year for interior designer Robyn Jensen. The high-rise condo features some beautiful Northwest Native American art as well as unique furniture pieces including a sofa and upholstered bench custom designed for the clients by Vladimir Kagan himself.
The Summer 2014 Pacific Northwest edition of Luxe Interiors + Design magazine is out and features two projects that I photographed over the past year. The project featured on the cover is a beautiful home in rural British Columbia by Ike Kligerman Barkley.
The second project featured in the issue is a modern "beach house" here in Seattle designed by SKB Architects.
A big congratulations to NK Architects and Cascade Built. Their Park Passive House was one of five single family residences nationwide to receive the 2014 AIA Housing Award for Architecture. It's worth noting that three of the five award winners are located here in the Northwest. That's what I'm talkin' about.
The Winter 2014 Pacific Northwest edition of Luxe Interiors + Design magazine is out and features my photographs of a wonderfully light and minimal modern Seattle home by CCS Architecture. The editorial team chose some really interesting tight crops of some of the original images and I think the whole spread turned out great.
Awesome architect and all-around-nice-guy George Suyama is featured in the current Sept/Oct 2013 issue of the AIA's Residential Architect Magazine. I've had the pleasure of photographing a couple of Suyama projects and one of my images of the Idaho River House project is used to illustrate the article.

The "Park Passive" house, Seattle's first certified Passive House that I photographed earlier this Summer for Cascade Built is featured in this week's New York Times. The house is super insulated and uses a high tech heat exchange air recycling system - making it up to 90% more energy efficient than a standard single family residence.
Check it out in print or on the web.
I've got a big twelve page spread in both the National and Pacific Northwest Spring 2013 issues of Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine.
The project is a gorgeous private residence here in Seattle perched above the shores of Lake Washington. I photographed the project for Conard Romano Architects, Doug Rasar Interior Design and Lockhart Suver. Here's a few pages:
I'm a bit late to the party with this but Kendall Wilkinson has a nice little featurette in the current issue of Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine that features my photographs (Winter 2013 National and Northwest editions).
The subject is an open airy kitchen from a large remodel project in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.
Stay tuned for another Luxe blog post as I've got a big project being featured in the next issue....
I had the pleasure of photographing the project last Summer for Sullivan Conard Architects, Doug Rasar, and Lockhart Suver (and even took a few shots way back in 2010 when it was still under construction) and it's such an awesome house that when Jay from Cascade Integration called wanting some more specific shots showcasing the integrated low-voltage systems, I jumped at the opportunity to return.
Here's left handed Jay working on his right handed driving skills in the driving range/fitness/movie theater room...
