Protege Update

It’s been a little over a year now since The Protege came on board here at Aaron Leitz Photography and things are progressing nicely.

He’s been dressing more appropriately and not dropping things as much. And I’m a lot more at ease these days when traveling on assignment now that I have The Protege to help with final gear check and packing….

I’m in San Francisco this week photographing a few residential projects. Had an afternoon free and walked over and took a few photographs of Saint Mary’s Cathedral in the Japantown neighborhood. It’s an interesting monolith of a building.

Well I’m back home in soggy Seattle after a beautiful few days of photographing the impressive set-piece home at Mountain Landing in the heart of the Bay of Islands. Easily one of the most stunning locations I’ve ever visited.

In Chicago for a few days this week…

Dinner tonight at Rick Bayless’ Frontera Grill: house guacamole, chicken mole enchilada and a champagne margarita = delicious.

Of course Chicago is legendary for its architecture.

So it wasn’t surprising to see this McDonald’s on the stroll downtown…

I’m in Seoul, South Korea all this week photographing a very awesome project. We’ve been pretty busy with the project but hope to get some time to check out the city a bit. Lots of interesting buildings here.
